Women on Wednesday meets in the church halls weekly 10:00-11:30am during school term time with a crèche for children. A time for friendship and Bible study.

Reading Souls

We are an “opt-in-when-you-can” book group for women and meet 3 times a year for an informal evening of coffee, cake and discussion. We read a book a term and have so far covered “The Hiding Place” by Corrie Ten Boom, “First Wives Club” by Claire Heath-Whyte and “None Like Him” by Jen Wilkins. Why not join us for our next book!!

Women’s Events

We run a number of events through the year for women. In 2020 some of these will include “Mugs and Muffins” on Saturday 8th February, a craft night on Friday 27th March, a “Stroll and Refreshments” evening on Friday 15th May and our popular Gingerbread House Evenings on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th November. See our annual diary for other exciting events happening in 2020 for the dates.

Southern Women’s Convention – Bold, Saturday, 13 June 2020

Some of us are naturally courageous and assertive while others of us battle with insecurities and hate to take risks. Whatever our temperament we are called to follow Jesus and stand firm in the gospel whatever the circumstances. In a day of teaching, fellowship, worship and seminars we’ll be considering how we can be faithful and BOLD for Jesus in prayer, at work, facing loss, seeking guidance and looking to the future. Our main speaker Karen Soole, will spotlight the challenges of two very different women from 1 Samuel and what they learnt about trusting God in the middle of extraordinary challenging situations.
